The Cinematic Schematic is bringing out the magnifying glass, busting out the pipe, and putting all the pieces together to discuss whodunnit in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

It’s been three years since Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc solved the case of tech billionaire arrogance in Glass Onion. Blanc stars in another Rian Johnson whodunnit. This time he investigates the story of a young preist who stumbles into a deadly case after being reassigned to a new parish.

Another all-star cast of suspects join Craig including Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church.

Knives Out (2019) enjoyed big box office succes, and Glass Onion won huge critical acclaim. Can Johnson capture lightning in a bottle a third time?
