The Cinematic Schematic is here for another game with the “Radio Silence” directing duo of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. Today we’re reviewing Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.

The sequel to the 2019 horror comedy Ready or Not comes as something as a surprise after the success of Radio Silence’s Scream (2022), Scream VI, and Abigail. Ready or Not was an instant classic in horror community, putting a fresh spin on satirical slashers. The eat-the-rich horror comedy was a huge hit on Hulu, but few people expected a sequel.

Does Ready or Not 2 bring enough new the table to justify the wait?

Check out our full review conversation.

Before we get to the main event, we break down the 2026 Oscars winners.
