Caleb Masters provides his initial review of the sci-fi space adventure Project Hail Mary starring Ryan Gosling on The Cinematic Schematic.

Creative masterminds Phil Lord and Christopher Miller step into the director’s chair to adapt Andy Weir’s Hugo-nominated 2021 novel. Part buddy hangout movie, part space epic—the film draws inspiration from Interstellar and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Project Hail Mary opens in theaters and IMAX screens nationwide on Friday, March 20th.
