    Gremlin

    Guest Ryan Bellgardt

Writer / Director / Producer of Gremlin

Writer/director/producer Ryan Bellgardt joins Cinematropolis Radio to talk about his experiences creating marketable indie films before blowing the lid off the making of his deadCenter 2017 film, Gremlin.

    Gremlin:

“Two years after the murder of his 10-year-old son, Adam Thatcher (Adam Hampton) receives a mysterious box from a relative containing a terrible secret, a creature that will brutally kill everyone he cares about one by one. The only way to release himself from the curse is to give the box to someone he loves, continuing the never-ending circulation of this ancient evil.”

After finding success with his debut film, Army of Frankensteins, Bellgardt decided to further sharpen his filmmaking skills by developing his next film, Gremlin. In our talk, he discusses the transition from his first film to Gremlin and using the power of internet trolls to his advantage. Bellgardt also shares his behind-the-scenes experiences on Gremlin and offers advice to filmmakers who are interested in honing their skills so that they can get their passion projects made and sold.

Before signing off Cinematropolis Radio, Bellgardt also teases his next big project Jurassic Games.

Learn more about Gremlin by following the film on Facebook.
