    As our month of Prestige Films: Past and Present continues, The Cinematroplis writing team found ourselves split over the controversial 2006 Best Picture winner, Crash.

    Laron Chapman recently wrote a full-fledged defense of Paul Haggis’s film, calling it “a cinematic prophecy ahead of its time.” Kevin Tudor objected to Laron’s defense and challenged him to a Cinema Showdown.

    This is a recording of that discussion.
